Spex Bio

Born & raised in Chicago IL in a neighborhood best known were movies like "Cooley High", "Candy Man" and the notorious T.V. show "Good Times" was filmed. Jeremy Smith known as Spex, grew up in the heart of Chicago's very own Cabrini Green Projects.

Writing poetry since the age of 10, playing the trumpet at 12, and now producing Hip-Hop and R&B music for himself and other local artist. Spex passion for music is reflected through Hip-Hop using a unique approach to capture the true essence of story telling.
